2021-08-30Completed (aka topped out one way or another) after nearly 12 hours with the best partner I could of asked for, Albert M. First 11 pitches consumed the majority of our time and energy (followed by a 10 pitch grind that makes one truly appreciate Sisyphus' struggle). Highly recommend endurance training prior to the event, comfort single pitching at least 5.11a, and an all-around supportive partner. Also, make use of the nice belay ledges; your toes will thank you at the summit. -
2021-08-30Not a real redpoint. Aided some of the 5.10d sections. What an exhausting route. Will come back to finally free all the pitches! -
2020-09-12Super fun route! Definitely worth combining pitches as on SP description, but do P6 & P9 alone to maximize belay ledge use. A few bolts are at most 1m off, but a long reach with alpine draw is doable always. Just gotta keep that routefinding head on, not just mindlessly follow bolts feeling for holds. I led both P4 & P8, personally found P8 harder than P4 but seems some found other way around. Was a well-varied route, but consistent slabby feet so be prepared to smear! P12 & P13 were scrambly and loose, more like 5.6 IMO. Be careful not to knock stuff down here! This route is getting more and more popular, so good chance someone beneath might feel your wrath. Also note, tops out right at top of hiking trail so expect to yell at a tourist or 2 for kicking rocks down on you. Took us 9 hrs bottom-to-top with 10c & 10d slab taking the lion's share of the time, so if you're good on bow valley slab would go much quicker.

2020-08-15Sport Multipitch - A hell of a climb. Worth doing but only once. Perfect weather. First thought about climbing it in 2012, but realized that my gym skills weren’t going to cut it on this one. I’m all grown up now. Lost the interest over the years in climbing this one based on feedback from others. This summer was the right time with the right partner. With M. Grisdale
