It’s impossible to put into words how much this send means to me, after putting so much effort into it over the years, being thwarted by various broken bones, fire bans, heat domes, career changes, raising small humans, and so many things that made it hard to dedicate the consistent climbing required to get routes of this grade. So nice to finally turn 50 and send my hardest route and break into the hard 13s. Managed to get lots of side projects along the way, but this one was always front in centre in my mind. Such a great line with amazing movement and positioning.

Stoke and relief are high. Great way to finish up my second summer in port hardy.

Such a classic, amazing line through the roof. So many rests, yet the sting in the tail is no joke! So much microbeta to sort out if you're not monster strong. A single thumb catch on a hold up high made a huge difference for me! Great stuff.

Got it! That only took me 5 years.... Epic climb. Taught me how to visualize upcoming moves at rests. Back from 2016: (realizing it might actually go one day) So it begins. I think I need to boulder more to train up for this one. I couldn't even begin to get the crux move, after basically aiding out to the lip. 2020: Worked on Globe sporadically through the years, and I was getting very close to putting it together just before Lochlan was born. It's coming back now though, I've managed to link it all the way to the undercling of the crux. Now I just need to remember Marcel's beta! And iron out the roof
